Management Team
In today's business climate, there is a trend toward mergers and acquisitions. Numerous dealerships have been absorbed by conglomerates and manufacturers. In some cases, this has led to layoffs of experienced personnel. Our low employee turnover cannot be matched, and our customers benefit from being served by a smooth-running organization whose employees are familar with each and every account.
Avant Garde was incorporated in 1994; our location has been a hub for the distribution of office equipment since 1983.
In 1988, Debbie Silvestri came here to work in Administration. Today, she is the General Manager of Operations of AGT. She rose through the ranks because she is detail-oriented, and efficient. Through her experience, Debbie is expert at maintaining a service-oriented organization.
In 1990, Allen Brooks started in Sales. Through various changes in partnerships, Allen's dedication led to an ownership position when AGT was incorporated in 1994. Cost-concious like no other, Allen wants nothing more than to reduce costs for his clients.
In 1997, Chris Parisi and Eladio Arroyo joined AGT.
Eladio, starting out as a Service Technician, showed an energy and focus that quickly made him one of our most knowledgeable people - which made him very popular with our customers. When he started, a 'computerized copier' was a new concept. Today, he is familiar with every model of copier/printer we've ever installed, and can run the networks to which they're connected.
Chris Parisi, Sales Manager, started in Sales. His prior experience gave him knowledge of the market, so our clients and prospects reaped the benefits. Placing the right machine at the right price led Management to promote him to Sales Manager very quickly.
Our people have demostrated dedication, focus, desire, and more dedication. All employees have a vested intrest in ensuring that each and every client is satisfied with the products and service from AGT.
